We have been purchasing mahogany dowel rods from Atlas Dowel for about 30 years. They have always gone the extra step to make sure we get what we need, as fast as they can. Their pricing has always been reasonable, the quality is consistently great, and the people there are awesome!
My little company (One Eared Armadillo) has been manufacturing custom made walking canes for 12 years and our shafts come exclusively from Atlas Dowel & Wood Products Company. Their grinding process makes my job much easier because I do not have to sand at all, as they are ultra smooth and straight.

Great source of dowels. In fact, this company produces dowels that other retailers resell. So if you buy in quantity like I do, this is the place to go. The selection and quality is good, better than others. I've only had little interaction with customer service, but they were cheery and quick. Highly recommend.
